Why and When will any Overseas Employers consider me for one of their existing opportunities ?

Overseas employers are obligated to consider local workforce (professionals having working rights locally) primarily. They chose to consider any overseas candidate when they cannot find a suitable domestic candidate. This trend is dominant in technology, engineering and business sectors. 

 

What Jobs would I be considered for?

All jobs referred to are full time (35+ weekly hours). Every job you are considered for would be similar or based on your current and past profiles. 

 

What are the clients like?

All clients are medium to large scale businesses. Local hiring is always cheaper than any Overseas hiring. Small employers do not go to the length of hiring internationally, due to the cost and formalities involved.

 

 

Who will pay for the Visa ?

The cost is born by the employer.

 

How long is the visa process ?

This could take anywhere between 1-3 months. The actual processing time could vary from country to country.

 

What is the visa validity time ?

Average time you are entitled to work is 2+ years. The time could be more or less in some cases.

 

Can I include my spouse (and dependents) in the Visa application ?

Most of the countries have a relaxed system of including your spouse (and dependent children) as co-applicants in your Visa application.

 

Who can apply for the Working Visa ? Can I apply for the Visa ?

This can only be applied by the employer. You (the job seeker) cannot apply for the visa on your own.

 

What is the Visa type ?

The visa is the Working Visa. It is known by different names in different countries (Greencard in US, Work Permit in UK, Employment Pass in Singapore, 457 in Australia etc).

 

What does the Visa entitles me to do ?

The visa entitles you to work for the sponsoring employer.

 

Can I find a new job after I start working for the sponsoring employer ?

Yes you can but the new employer has to become the new sponsor for your Visa.

 

What type of clients can I expect ?

Whose payroll would I be working ?

You would be working on the payroll of the employer and not our.

 

 

Can the contract period be extended?

Yes, this is what normally happens. All hiring (especially from overseas) are carried out keeping the long term perspectives.

 

Can I pay the fee after I get selected for the interview?

No, as the fee is for services which help your profile to get the interview opportunities. If there are no services we cannot work on the interviews.

 

Would you be helping me with the interview preparation?

Yes for any thing which is outside the purview of your experience. International hiring is characterized by "necessary experience", hence the interviews are focused on your experience rather on anything else.

 

What would be the interview procedure?

Telephonic or Video conferencing. Necessary arrangements (travel and stay) would be made by the employer if in person interview is required.

 

How many interviews are going to be arranged?

You can expect couple of interviews (indicatively) every month.
